This Van Gogh Wheat Field wallpaper reproduces one of Vincent van Gogh’s most beloved works — “Wheat Field with Cypresses.” He painted it in June 1889 during his stay at the Saint-Paul-de-Mausole asylum in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. The painting is now held in the permanent collection of the National Gallery in London, and is considered one of the finest examples of Van Gogh’s post-impressionist mastery — that golden wheat rippling beneath a sky of swirling blue and white, two dark cypresses standing like sentinels at the edge of the field.
