Kitten Pals Painting Wallpaper

Holly Rothbard — Sat, 15 Feb 2014 17:56:44 +0000

This kitten pals painting wallpaper is the work of illustrator and artist Jane Maday, whose watercolor style captures animal personality with an accuracy that comes from genuine affection for the subject. Two kittens — an orange tabby and a tortoiseshell — share a sunny window seat framed by leafy green curtains and a terracotta pot of pink geraniums, both looking out at the viewer with the directness that makes kittens so impossible to ignore. Maday began her professional career as a scientific illustrator and has spent decades licensing her art across cards, gifts, and home décor — and the precision shows in every whisker.

Sweet Dog With Kittens Painting Wallpaper

Holly Rothbard — Sat, 08 Feb 2014 00:32:50 +0000

This sweet dog with kittens painting wallpaper is an exercise in good-natured surrender — a golden retriever at rest on a garden patio, one tabby kitten draped across its back and another settled comfortably against its chin, the dog wearing the expression of an animal that has made complete peace with its circumstances. The realistic painting style captures the fur textures of all three animals with impressive fidelity: the retriever’s silky ears, the kittens’ striped tabby coats, purple pansies blooming in the background completing a scene that is entirely too wholesome to resist.

Moonlight Kitten Painting Wallpaper

Holly Rothbard — Fri, 24 Jan 2014 03:46:50 +0000

This moonlight kitten painting wallpaper is by artist Jane Maday, whose watercolor style transforms everyday animal subjects into scenes of quiet delight. A tuxedo kitten — black and white with bright green eyes, wearing a purple ribbon bow — sits before an enormous glowing full moon, ivy trailing around the edges of the composition in deep night blues and greens. The painting has the quality of a storybook illustration that is genuinely too good to stay inside a storybook.

Kitten Butterfly Painting Wallpaper

Holly Rothbard — Fri, 17 Jan 2014 01:42:14 +0000

This kitten butterfly painting wallpaper puts a wide-eyed Himalayan kitten centre stage in a garden of pink geraniums, a yellow butterfly hovering just within reach in the background. The wooden fence, the lush geranium foliage, every strand of the kitten’s creamy coat — it is all the work of Jane Maday, an illustrator whose gift for capturing animals in garden settings has made her one of the most recognized names in American decorative art.

Kitten Christmas Painting Wallpaper

Holly Rothbard — Sun, 05 Jan 2014 10:49:03 +0000

This kitten Christmas painting wallpaper is Jane Maday at her most festive — a grey tabby kitten sprawled beneath the lower branches of a Christmas tree, a string of red cranberry beads looped around it and a red bow tied at its neck, the whole scene lit by the warm glow of colored ornaments above. The kitten’s expression of cheerful satisfaction suggests it considers this arrangement entirely its own idea.

Mischievous Kittens Painting Wallpaper

Holly Rothbard — Wed, 01 Jan 2014 18:41:12 +0000

This mischievous kittens painting wallpaper is a Jane Maday garden scene at its most chaotic — a tuxedo kitten has taken up residence inside a tin watering can, peering out over the rim with complete satisfaction, while a second tabby kitten sits beside a tipped terracotta pot surrounded by poppies, daisies, and yellow buttercups. Maday’s rendering of the garden setting is meticulous: every petal, every rusted pot rivet, every blade of grass earning its place in the composition.

Kittens Sleeping Painting Wallpaper

Holly Rothbard — Thu, 19 Dec 2013 02:44:47 +0000

This kittens sleeping painting wallpaper captures the specific, boneless quality of two young cats fully committed to their nap. Two tabby kittens are curled cheek to cheek in a nest of golden hay on what appears to be a barn windowsill. Pink foxgloves and white daisies frame the opening on both sides. Jane Maday’s work is such that you can almost feel the warmth — the softness of the kittens’ tabby coats, the dry rustle of the hay beneath them.

Kitten Staring Painting Wallpaper

Holly Rothbard — Tue, 17 Dec 2013 03:02:54 +0000

This kitten staring painting wallpaper shows Jane Maday in a looser, more open watercolor mode — a young Birman kitten sits among black-eyed Susans and soft lavender wildflowers, a small blue butterfly resting in the lower right, the whole composition flooded with the kind of airy summer light that makes watercolor the right tool for the job. The kitten’s blue eyes anchor the image with a directness the loose brushwork surrounds beautifully.

Tangled Kitten Painting Wallpaper

Holly Rothbard — Wed, 04 Dec 2013 12:17:42 +0000

This tangled kitten painting wallpaper makes its case immediately — a black kitten stretched across a warm ochre background, thoroughly entangled in purple yarn, a ball of green wool nearby and the evidence of its work looping across the floor in the shape of an accidental heart. Jane Maday renders the kitten’s amber eyes with particular care: alert, unrepentant, and completely at peace with what it has done.

Kitten Garden Bird Painting Wallpaper

Holly Rothbard — Fri, 22 Nov 2013 15:48:52 +0000

This kitten garden bird painting is a Jane Maday garden scene built around one loaded moment — a calico kitten and a small grey garden bird regarding each other across a weathered metal pump, roses and ripe blackberries framing the encounter, ivy trailing overhead. The bird appears entirely unbothered. The kitten’s expression suggests it is running calculations.
