Qinling Panda Wallpaper

Holly Rothbard — Thu, 06 Apr 2017 04:00:00 +0000

Qinling Panda Wallpaper pictures Qizai. He is a subspecies of the giant panda. In contrast to the black and white fur of the giant panda, Qinling pandas have dark and light brown fur. They are also generally smaller. Due to his different looks, his mother deserted this adorable panda when he was just a baby. His peers also ostracized him. His unfamiliar looks caused him to appear “weak” to the wild animal kingdom. Qizai was discovered in a nature sanctuary in the Qinling Mountains of China. He can now be found at Foping Panda Nature Reserve where he eats an average of 45 pounds of bamboo daily!

Solitary Polar Bear Wallpaper

Holly Rothbard — Thu, 16 Apr 2015 04:00:00 +0000

Solitary Polar Bear Wallpaper pictures a lone bear. Polar bears are solitary animals. In the winter months a polar bear hunts for seals to eat. He fishes along the edges of frozen sea ice. As the warmer weather sets in, the ice begins to melt. The bear then ends up on land. This has caused a cannibalistic trend for the stranded Polar bear. Humans are the only predator of the Polar Bear. A bear will seldom attack a human, even if it is starving!

Arctic Friends Wallpaper

Holly Rothbard — Fri, 20 Mar 2015 04:00:00 +0000

Arctic Friends Wallpaper shows a polar bear and a fox walking on ice. The white color of the fox’s fur means it is winter time. The white color blends in with the snow. In the summer months the color will change to brown or gray, blending into the background environment. The long bushy tail of the fox provides a warm scarf which the fox can wrap around itself. The polar bear’s fur looks white, but it is really dark, oily and water repellent. The bear can stay warm because it has 10 cm of blubber under its skin. The polar bear dines on seals which it can smell from nearly a mile away. The sea of ice acts as a platform for the hunt for the seals. The large polar bear catches the dinner which it shares with its smaller companion. Now, that’s friendship!

This polar bear and cub wallpaper captures a mother and her young cub standing together on Arctic sea ice, the water fractured into pale blue shards around them and the cold light making their white fur almost glow. According to the National Wildlife Federation, polar bear cubs stay with their mothers for roughly two and a half years, learning to hunt and survive on sea ice before striking out on their own.
